Softie (Slipover) is a sleeveless sweater, worked in stockinette stitch using one strand of our Softie chunky base (boucle). Its fit makes it perfect to wear over a pretty blouse, shirt or dress. Knit from the top down and accessible to fearless beginners.

Description

Sizes: Finished measurements – 90, 100, 110 (120, 130, 140) 150, 160, 170 cm of bust circumference

Recommended ease: 10 to 20cm of positive ease

Gauge: 10stsx16rows=10cm in stockinette stitch, using 6mm/US 10 needles (or another size depending on your gauge)

Yarn: One strand of chunky weight yarn – Softie, Along Avec Anna
200, 225, 250 (290, 320, 370) 405, 440, 485 metres

so 3, 3, 4 (4, 4, 5) 6, 6, 7 skeins of Softie – Along avec Anna

Sample version :
Knit in Softie base from Along Avec Anna, in size 100 with 20 cm of positive ease. Knit in Colombe.

Recommended needles (or another size to get the gauge): 6mm/US 10 for the body
5mm/US 8 for the ribbing and I-cord

Notions: stitch markers, scrap yarn, tapestry needle
