We are a lovely team of hard working ladies, all passionate about craft, sustainable fashion, ethical yarn and of course, Along avec Anna

Anna Dervout

Founder & Designer

Along avec Anna Ltd was founded in 2017 in Exeter, UK by Anna Dervout, but Anna’s journey with the craft community actually started in 2013 when she founded her blog. Knitting quickly became a way of life for her, in addition to a passion. 

She’s in charge of creating and writing the patterns and books, developing new yarn colours and bases, and everything else that goes into being the director of a small business.

Megan Sear

Retail & Admin associates

When Along avec Anna moved to a bigger shop on New Bridge Street in Exeter at the start of 2023, we were delighted to have Megan join us as our retail & admin associate. 

She runs the shop on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays and is there to help you choose your next project whether it is knitting, crochet, or something else! She knows everything about our yarn and patterns and is a knitter and crocheter herself. 

Roberta Juxon-Keen

Stylist

Roberta joined us in 2023 and is the stylist behind the brand and the Exeter shop. Have you enjoyed our recent window displays? She’s the one who makes them so beautiful and delicate, as well as styling all our pattern photoshoots.

Roberta has an eye for authentic, delicate and minimalist set-ups and pictures, and has lots of knowledge surrounding sustainable fashion and indie brands (and Fore Street in Exeter)!

Karen Rudkin

Marketing Manager

Karen joined the team in 2023 and is responsible for the marketing side of Along avec Anna. 

From data analysis to creating advertising campaigns,or working with the media on the PR side, her work is very important to the development of our small business. 

She has a detailed knowledge of South-West-based small businesses and always finds the best ways to develop the local knitting community in Exeter. She is behind a lot of the events happening at the shop!

On the other side of the channel ...

Elise joined the team in 2019 and is our freelance tech editor and is based in France. She grades the patterns imagined by Anna in different sizes, as well as proofreading and correcting the patterns in French and English. Since 2024, she’s also been in charged of our customer service on our support email address !

Charline, has been working for Along avec Anna since 2021 and is our talented freelance illustrator, based in France. She illustrates all the ideas for Anna and the team: designing the pattern layout, illustrations, schematics, but also the various products we offer in the shop.

Finally, in Exeter with Anna, Harry is always here to help for Along avec Anna. Whether it be pictures, videos or company logistics, he’s been Anna’s supportive partner since the very beginning. You will also see him during yarn shows, where he will help you out with a big smile!
