WASHING INSTRUCTIONS (Silk-mohair)DRY CLEANMohair items can be cleaned by a reputable dry cleaner, however Mohair suiting, and other fine mohair worsted cloth will recommend dry cleaning on their care label.HANDWASH• Soak in tepid water using mild detergent recommended for washing wool (like Woolite), or even hair shampoo. |
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS (Merino & Double Merino)WASHING• Machine washable on a gentle wool cycle at 30°C/86°F. Use a mild, wool-friendly detergent.• Avoid fabric softeners as they may damage the fiber.DRYING : Lay flat to dry. Do not tumble dry to prevent shrinking or distortion.IRONING : Do not iron directly. Use a low heat setting with a pressing cloth if necessary.PILLING PREVENTION : Due to the softness of merino, some pilling may occur with wear. Use a sweater comb or fabric shaver to remove pills gently.STORAGE : Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and moths. Use breathable storage bags for long-term storage.CARE INSTRUCTIONSStorage : Store garment in a cool dry place. Do not store in plastic.Fold Knitwear : Do not keep knitted garments on hangers/ Fold and store on a shelfAvoid Perfume : Do not spray perfume directly on garment, especially if it is white.WARNINGS1. Allergy Risk:• Contains natural wool fibers. May cause irritation or allergic reactions in sensitive individuals.2. Choking Hazard (if sold with accessories or in kits):• Keep out of reach of children. Loose threads or small accessories may pose a choking risk.3. Fiber Fragility:• Superwash merino fibers are delicate despite their machine-washable treatment. Avoid excessive agitation to prevent felting or damage.4. Flammability:• Keep away from open flames. Wool is naturally fire-resistant but will ignite if exposed to prolonged high heat.5. Environmental Concerns :• “Superwash treatment involves a chemical process. Dispose of responsibly and consider repurposing scraps to minimize waste. |
