Romy (Jumper)

Romy (Jumper)

Romy is a drop-shoulders jumper with positive ease which features a very pretty lace detail at the bottom. It is knitted with two yarns held together as one: a fingering weight yarn and a mohair base yarn.

The body is knitted from bottom to top: you start by knitting the bottom of the body in the round, then the front and back are knitted one by one back and forth. Shoulders are then joined by a three needles bind off, and the stitches from the sleeves are picked-up to knit them in the round from top to bottom.
