Laurel (Jumper)

Laurel (Jumper)

Laurel is a sweater with a pretty colorwork motif all over the body and the sleeves.

The construction is top-down: the neckline is cast-on and knitted with 2×2 ribbing, then short rows are made to raise the back of the sweater compared to the front. The yoke is then knitted with the colourwork motif. The sleeves are put on hold in order to knit the body which is planned to be crop length; once the body is done, the stitches for the sleeves are put back on the needle and they are then knitted one by one.
