Camellia is a tank top that has a beautiful lace pattern all over the body and a button band. The shoulders are closed with wide straps that you can tie or not, depending on your preference. The tank top can be worn, as desired, with the button placket at the front or at the back. An I-cord is knitted at the same time for the armholes, but a final I-cord is knitted for the front and back.
This pattern is intended for a level advanced.
Sizes: Finished measurements, once blocked: 86, 93, 100, 107 (114, 121, 128, 135) [142, 149, 156, 163] cm of bust circumference
Gauge: Using needles 3.5 mm/US 4 (or another size depending on your gauge): Lace motif of 18 sts x 56 rows = 7 x 13 cm after blocking
Ease: about 5 to 10 cm
Yarn: Fingering weight (Merino, Along Avec Anna) :
550, 595, 650, 705 (765, 830, 890, 955) [1000, 1085, 1155, 1235] meters
So 3, 3, 4, 4 (4, 5, 5, 5) [5, 6, 6, 7] balls of Merino Fingering Along avec Anna
Sample version: Knit in size 86 with 6cm of positive ease, and 2 lace repeats on the body (Anna is 1m50). Knit in Merino Along Avec Anna, in Dune colorway.
Second sample is 107 cm in Tomette.
Recommended needles (or another size to get the gauge): 3.5mm/US 4 for the body
3.25mm/US 3 for the straps
Notions: stitch markers, scrap yarn, tapestry needle, 6 buttons of 12mm
