The team Along avec Anna

Anna

Real passionate about crafts in general since I was a child, I became an independent knitwear designer for Along avec Anna in 2017 and I am now also a book author for Eyrolles (“Tricoter le jacquard en rond”, released in September 2019).

Knitting quickly became for me, in addition to a passion, a way of life. Always a project on my needles, I spend my days brainstorming new pattern ideas and creating them using beautiful yarns that inspire me. I choose yarns that respect the environment and animals.

I create patterns mainly for women but also for children. I regularly try to create adult-child matching outfit!

The patterns are designed to be, above all, a relaxation for you. They are written in a clear manner, therefore accessible to beginners, with links to videos. The patterns are size inclusive, with a bust circumference ranging from approximately 80cm to 160cm for the most recent patterns.

My work is often described as delicate and feminine. My goal is to share my knowledge and skills with the knitting community in an ethical, respectful and friendly way.

Doriane

Passionate knitter, I met Anna through a knitting group in Brittany in 2018 and then joined the Along avec Anna team in January 2019 as a virtual assistant. The idea was to take care of the customer service and answer various type of emails because Anna could no longer do everything on her own.

Very quickly, I took on new responsibilities by becoming the tech editor of the patterns, as well as taking care of various administrative tasks such as calls for test knitting, creation of groups slacks etc.

I also take care of developing the website and I’m often coming to Anna’s rescue when there is a problem!

Now, very involved in the creative small business Along with Anna, I actively participate in Anna’s thoughts on patterns or new knitting items that we want to offer you.

Harry

Partner of Anna, I’ve been supporting her in her creative adventures since the beginning of her blog in 2013.

Of course, I am listening and I do not hesitate to advise her, but above all I have an important responsibility at Along with Anna: the photographs!

The aesthetics of a pattern are very important to us. I’m the one in charge of the pictures. Whether it is at home, out for a walk with the family, or while traveling, I take care of the photos. The pictures from our book “Tricoter le jacquard en rond” (Ed. Eyrolles) were taken during our trip to Iceland. It was a real challenge for me.

I continue to invest myself fully in this role so that our patterns will make you dream and travel.
