Rosa (Jumper) is a sweater in stockinette stitch that features a beautiful lace on the raglan. It has a deep V-neckline, finished with an I-cord, for an overall very feminine look. It has 2×2 ribbing on the wrists and lower body. It can be knitted either with two yarns held together (a fingering and a mohair), or with a single DK / sport yarn to make it lighter.
Accessible to beginners.
The construction is top-down: the back, sleeves and fronts are knitted back and forth to create the neckline, then everything is joined in the round. The sleeves are put on hold in order to knit the body; the stitches from the sleeves are then picked-up to be knitted one by one. The stitches of the neckline are picked-up at the end to knit an I-cord finish.
Sizes: Finished measurements: 80, 85 (90, 95, 100, 105, 110) 115, 120, 125, 130cm of bust circumference
Gauge: 23 sts x 31 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch in needles 3.75mm/US 5 (or another size to get the gauge)
Recommended ease: between 5 & 10 cm of positive ease
