Blossom (Cardigan)

Blossom is a cardigan with a beautiful lace back, a front and sleeves in stockinette stitch, a V neck and twisted ribbing.

The construction is top-down. You start by knitting back and forth along the back from the top to the underarms. Stitches for both fronts are picked-up and knitted back and forth to the underarms. The back and the front are joined together to knit the body.
The stitches from the body and the neckline are picked-up to knit the button bands.
To finish, the stitches for the sleeves are picked-up and knit from the underarms to the wrists.
