Hello everyone! We’re there, it’s December 25th, Christmas Day! I would like to wish you all the best with your family or friends.
What is your tradition? Do you just celebrate the 24th? The 24th and the 25th? Only the 25? In my family we have always done something for Christmas Eve (the reunion around a good meal), but Santa Claus gifts have to be opened in the morning when we are waking up! Nothing better isn’t it! (Except that on the pictures we are always wearing our pyjamas and my hair looks terrible …!). This year I’m having my first Christmas in England, with lots of new traditions!
I had already adopted the tradition of stockings in Canada, but it becomes very real this year with the English family. I did not have time to knit a Christmas stocking for Alice this year, but she will have one of her own for sure next year!
In these photos I wear the Pretty Rock dress, a collaboration between Kit by Klo and Pretty Mercerie. It is a A shape dress with raglan sleeves, and yoke on the back. I chose the navy version (I’m sure you’re surprised!), and the velvet is so soft! I’ve made the size 34 for the bust and 36 waist according to the measurements table but I think the size 34 everywhere would have been better in the end. I love how it is open in the back as well as the lace yoke! I find it so delicate!
I wanted to thank you sincerely for following my creative adventures this year again, and I hope you will continue to do so next year! I loved reading all your comments on the article of the 3 years anniversary of the blog, and I was also touched by your words, so thank you so much! I wrote down your ideas for 2017 and I will try to realize as many as possible!
In the meantime, I wish you a very merry Christmas, enjoy your loved ones and take care of yourself.
