The team Along avec Anna

Anna

Founder & designer

Real passionate about crafts in general since I was a child, I became an independent knitwear designer for Along avec Anna in 2017 and I am now also a book author for Eyrolles   (“Tricoter le jacquard en rond”, released in September 2019).

Knitting quickly became for me, in addition to a passion, a way of life.

Always a project on my needles, I spend my days brainstorming new pattern ideas and creating them using beautiful yarns that inspire me. I choose yarns that respect the environment and animals.

My work is often described as delicate and feminine.

My goal is to share my knowledge and skills with the knitting community in an ethical, respectful and friendly way.

harry

Photographer
Partner of Anna, I’ve been supporting her in her creative adventures since the beginning of her blog in 2013.

Of course, I am listening and I do not hesitate to advise her, but above all I have an important responsibility at Along with Anna: the photographs!

The aesthetics of a pattern are very important to us. I’m the one in charge of the pictures. Whether it is at home, out for a walk with the family, or while traveling, I take care of the photos. The pictures from our book “Tricoter le jacquard en rond” (Ed. Eyrolles) were taken during our trip to Iceland. It was a real challenge for me.

I continue to invest myself fully in this role so that our patterns will make you dream and travel.

elise

Tech-editor

Knitter since 2015, I met Anna through social media when I was living in England. We got along straight away and we became friends quickly.

When I started my tech-editor activity, I offered my services to Anna who was immediately interested.

My job consists of grading the patterns imagined by Anna in different sizes, as well as proofreading and correcting the patterns in French and English. I also create the charts if needed.

At Along avec Anna, we want to offer you patterns with clear and accessible instructions, and I take great care to verify that this is the case for each pattern.

Outside of knitting, I love spending time with my partner, family and friend (s) and taking care of my bunny Padmé.

SARAH

Virtual assistant

Knitting has been such an important part of my life for the last seven years and has seen me through my French literature studies, my many exams and the lockdowns.

For me, knitting is both a creative outlet and a meditative practice that helps me slow down, be patient and create something I can be proud of.

I met Anna on Instagram and was instantly taken with the both the beauty and accessibility of her patterns, so I jumped at the chance to work for Along Avec Anna as a bilingual virtual assistant. I’m thrilled to be able to integrate my passion for knitting and my French skills into my professional life by providing customer support.

Outside of knitting, I love taking walks in nature, yoga and cooking.

charline

Illustrator & graphic designer

Passionate about drawing since childhood, I never thought I would make it my job one day. Then, when I became a mother, it seemed important to me to find an activity that could allow me to work from home. I picked up my pencils again and decided to offer my services.

Passionate about creative hobbies and particularly knitting, I work on the brand identity of Along avec Anna.

Creation of the pattern layout, illustrations, schematics, but also the various products we offered in the shop, I am here to draw all the ideas of Anna and the team!

rachel

Trainee

Working as a communications and marketing student trainee, I joined the Along team avec Anna in early February for a six month period.

My mission ? Support Anna in her daily tasks. Community management on social media, public relations and communication strategies are at the heart of my activities.

My goal is to help the development of Along avec Anna in the French-speaking and international world.
